Supermarket Opening Hours over Christmas
Sainsbury’s
The supermarket has extended its opening hours in the runup to Christmas, and is open from 8am until 10pm from the 18th to the 23rd of December. On Christmas Eve, the shop is open for normal Sunday hours from 10am until 4pm. On Christmas Day, Sainsbury’s will be closed, opening again at 9am until 6pm on Boxing Day.
ASDA
ASDA Kings Heath is open as normal from the 18th to the 23rd, has reduced hours of 11am until 5pm on Christmas Eve and is closed on Christmas Day. They open again 9am until 6pm on Boxing Day, and have reduced hours of 11am-5pm on New Year’s Eve, and then 9am-6pm on New Year’s Day.
LIDL
LIDL in Kings Heath will be open early from 7am in the week before Christmas and open from 10am-4pm on Christmas Eve. They will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, but back to normal opening hours from the 27th. The shop has reduced hours of 10am-6pm on New Year’s Eve, and is closed on New Year’s Day, but opens again as normal on the 2nd of January.
Iceland
Iceland in Kings Heath is open until 6.30pm throughout the runup to Christmas, although closing on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. It is open again on the 27th and does not close for New Year’s Eve.
