It seems like Easter was only a few weeks ago, but the half term is here already! Keep the kids entertained with our top picks of things to do in the Heath…

Elmer Day | Saturday 27th May | Togademus | 9am-5pm

Kicking off the half term, it’s Elmer Day at Togademus! Dig out your brightest clothes and come along for a whole day of Elmer themed craft activities and games including ‘pin the trunk on the Elmer’, and colouring competitions for the little ones with lots of goodies up for grabs. Gruffalo Family Day | Saturday 27th May | All Saints Church | 10am-12.30pm

Everyone loves the Gruffalo, so come along for a morning of Gruffalo crafts, activities, fun and games at All Saints Church. There’ll also be movies, books and toys to keep the kids entertained, and refreshments. too. Free entry, but donations are welcomed!

Crafty Thursday | Thursday 1st June| Kings Heath Library | 2.15pm-4.30pm

The Library are holding a free afternoon of good old-fashioned hands-on crafty fun this Thursday! They’ll provide all of the essentials like crayons, card, tissue paper, scissors, and glue…all you have to do is bring the kids with and their imaginations. No need to book, just drop in.

Kids Run Free | Saturday 3rd June | Kings Heath Park | 9am

The Summer sunshine has finally arrived, so take the kids to Kids Run Free to make the most of it! This great monthly event does exactly what it says on the tin – the little ones will enjoy a morning of free fun, fresh air, and exercise in Kings Heath Park. Simply register online before Saturday here and turn up on the day.

If the weatherman is right and the heatwave continues, cool the kids off with a milkshake or ice slushy from Brian’s Juice and Bites!
