And the winners are…
As you may be aware, we have been hosting our first ever Poetry Competition! The only rule being that the poems had to be about Kings Heath in some way, shape or form. We were absolutely blown away by the quality of those entered!
The closing date for the competition was 1st February and Di de Woolfson from Cannon Poets picked 12 entries from the 83 that were entered. The shortlisted poems were then uploaded to a Facebook album with our Facebook friends being invited to ‘vote’ for their favourite poem by ‘liking’ the poem that they wanted to win, we also hosted Ballot Boxes throughout Kings Heath in local bars and cafes for our offline audience.
The voting closed on Monday 25th February and the votes have been counted!
