The West Midlands Police need your help to support vulnerable people in Kings Heath.

Every community, not just our own, is currently facing such a challenging and difficult time unlike anything we’ve faced before. It’s at times like these when it’s so heartwarming to see us come together to help and support one another, especially to support those that are more vulnerable. Facebook pages and Whatsapp groups are forming all the time to help those people in any way possible, whether that be to collect essential shopping and medication, or to offer a simple catch up over the phone to enable contact during what is a very lonely time for many.

Keeping in touch like this and sharing important information and advice is more important than ever in the face of the Coronavirus pandemic, which is why the West Midlands Police want to help us build upon and strengthen these networks we’ve created. Whatever social media tool you’re using to support one another, sharing just a few details with West Midlands Police will enable them to send up-to-date local policing messages that can then be shared with group members and, in turn, reach out and help many more people than current capabilities allow.

If you’re an administrator for a group like this, please get in touch with Sam O’Dell via bwconnect_build@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk and provide the details below.

Thank you in advance to everyone that takes advantage of this opportunity, and thank you to the West Midlands Police for your ongoing help and support every single day.
