We are witnessing a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. Local venues in Kings Heath have partnered with Kings Heath United Against Racism to create an event to raise funds and show solidarity with the people of Gaza. Taking place on the 30th-31st March, the Birmingham Palestine Weekender will feature live bands, DJ sets, spoken word, storytelling, banner making, art workshops, presentations on the history of Palestine and debates. Proceeds from ticket sales and collections will support Medical Aid for Palestine. A contribution will also be given to an activist transport fund.
