Kings Heath Street Festival

Kings Heath Street Festival

The Kings Heath BID Board are delighted to announce that the Kings Heath Street Festival is BACK! The new organising team have been very busy working behind the scenes over the past few months to ensure the event we all know and love returns to Kings Heath this September and we’re very excited to announce the festival will return on Sunday the 9th September 2018!

Kings Heath Street Festival is a popular annual community event held in the bustling Birmingham suburb in September. Since it’s birth in 2014, the festival has brought together local residents, business owners, and people from across Birmingham in their thousands to celebrate everything that their community has to offer in a huge end-of-Summer bonanza. The free day of family fun features live music from local artists, a host of street food traders and outdoor bars, an extensive market showcasing local businesses, creators and makers, children’s activities, traditional fun fair rides, and much more. Since it’s launch the festival has continued to grow in both size and success, with attendance numbers doubling each year. An estimated circulation of 2,500 attendees were recorded in 2014, rising to 5,000 in 2015, and reaching a record-breaking 10,000 attendees at 2016’s event. Unfortunately last years street festival couldn’t go ahead so this year we’re looking to bounce back bigger and better than ever! With a variety of food traders, arts and craft stalls, live music, bars and more, the Kings Heath Street Festival is a great day out for all the family! Find out more here!
