An exciting new series of collaborations with local artists is coming to Black Market Barber Company! Each month, they’ll be featuring the work of a different local artist in the shop, and first up is incorrigible skate troubadour Simon Peplow and his brand spanking new show ‘BIRTHDAY SUIT’. An evening of authentic Southern Italian flavours, aromas and warm hospitality, as you sample dishes passed down through generations, featuring fresh, seasonal Mediterranean ingredients. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with live music from the toe-tapping Rhino and the Ranters! Devon Sproule | Sunday 26th March | Kitchen Garden Cafe | York Road

Hailing from Canada and America, Devon Sproule’s music welcomes the magical and the tangible. It celebrates human complication in the language of nature, and is described North American music with weirdo roots. Devon has been married to producer Paul Curreri for 11 years, and Sproule’s recordings have been released by Tin Angel Records, based in Coventry, England since 2007. The Gold String by Devon Sproule will be released on Tin Angel Records in spring 2017. Tickets are £12. Find out more here.
