The festive season has finally arrived and we are so excited to start the celebrations here in Kings Heath! We have put together just a taste of how you can spend Christmas and New Year in Kings Heath, featuring family activities, offers and nights out galore – we’ve got it all!

Kings Heath Elf Trail

We have a very important challenge for the children of Kings Heath!

Santa has been having trouble with some of the cheekier elves in the North Pole, they’ve been throwing snowballs in the workshop, scaring the reindeers, and now they’ve only gone and run away! They have made their way to Kings Heath and started causing chaos! We are launching the Kings Heath Elf Trail for you to help find them.

As preparation for our upcoming Elf Trail, which will be running from December 14th until January 7th, we need the local children to use their creative flair to decorate some cheeky little elves!

Using pens, paint, collage or crayons, it’s your choice, just have fun and be creative! There have been several Creation Stations set up around Kings heath where you can find elf templates to decorate! Find out more about our elf decorating activity here!

Once all of our elves are decorated they will be hidden in businesses across Kings Heath and as part of the Kings Heath Elf trail. Children will be invited to find these mischievous little elves and get them all back to the North Pole as soon as possible!

We will let you know more about our Festive Elf Trial closer to the time so watch this space!

Letters to Father Christmas

To celebrate the most wonderful time of the year, we thought we’d add some fun to the festive season by bringing the Travelling Christmas Post Box to our beloved Kings Heath.

Writing a letter to Santa is a childhood tradition that has been an integral part of Christmas since time began. Not only is it a great way to get creative, but it is also the perfect opportunity for mum’s, dad’s, aunties, uncles or grandparents to spend some quality time with the family during this magical season!

Remember to address all letters to Santa Klaus at the North Pole, Lapland. NO STAMP IS REQUIRED!

The Travelling Christmas Postbox will be gracing Kings Heath with its presence from Saturday 1st December through till Christmas Eve. You can track the latest location of the postbox by keeping your eyes on the Enjoy Kings Heath Facebook, Instagram and Twitter

Find out more about the travelling post box here!

PLUS all letters will be automatically entered into our festive raffle, which will see 5 of the letters winning some tasty prizes – Winners will be announced in the New Year and contacted directly to claim their special chocolatey prize!
