Cameras at the ready…the Capture Kings Heath Spring Edition is now OPEN!

Are you a budding photographer or keen Instagrammer? Then dig out your cameras, get out there, and Capture Kings Heath this Spring to be in with a chance of winning TWO cash prizes! To mark the first day of Spring in glorious Kings Heath, we have relaunched our popular Capture Kings Heath competition! Fancy being in with a chance of winning one of two cash prizes donated by Kings Heath BID, AND having your work viewed by thousands? We want to see our town at its diverse and vibrant best…whether it’s our bustling High Street and markets, beautiful green spaces in all their Spring glory, your favourite hidden gem, unusual architecture, or the people that make our town so great…so get snapping!

Back in Autumn 2016, the first ever Capture Kings Heath competition received over 80 stunning entries, and the people of Kings Heath crowned local photographer Richard Cartwright the winner, with his incredible image of the Village Square and All Saints Centre! Check out last year’s entries here.

This year, there are two £75 cash prizes up for grabs, which will be chosen by a public vote via the Enjoy Kings Heath Facebook page and an expert judging panel. The competition closes on 1st May 2017, and the winners will be announced on 15th May 2017. You can submit as many photographs as you like – simply email your entries to kingsheath@tigerbam.co.uk. GOOD LUCK!

Please note, Kings Heath BID may use photographs entered in the future (you might recognise some of last year’s entries on the Enjoy Kings Heath website or Enjoy Kings Heath magazine!) If you would not like your photographs to be used, please state upon entering.
