Half Term Activities | Togademus | Poplar Rd | All day

We can always rely on the Togademus toys to keep the little ones entertained during half term! With a different workshop or craft activity each day from 21st-25th February, the kids will have fun making all kinds of things, from funny face masks, a kaleidoscope, a bird or bug house, and lots more! Prices range from £1-£4.50, and there’s no need to book – just drop in! Find out more here.

Kings Heath Library | High St

As well as an endless supply of books to keep the kids busy this half term, there are also two days of fun activities lined up! On Tuesday 21st, there will be slimy, smelly stories and Yuuuky crafts for 5-10 year olds, and for the whizz kids out there, there’s fun computing, coding and games workshop on Friday 24th February for 8-11 year olds. Plus, anyone who wants to come in during half term time can have a Dirty Bertie bookmark to colour in! For more information, visit them on Twitter.

Arts, Crafts and Antique Market | Village Square | Saturday 18th | 10am-4pm

We all know there’s lots of lovely things for you to browse and buy at our monthly Arts, Crafts and Antique markets, but did you know there is also a wide range of children’s activities and live music on the Square, too? That means the kids will be kept suitably entertained for the whole day whilst you have a little shop! Perfect. Find out more here.

Kings Heath Great Easter Egg Hunt

Easter is just around the corner! This year we have teamed up with the Easter Bunny to bring back the Kings Heath Great Easter Egg Hunt, but we need the little ones help to decorate the Easter Eggs to hide in local businesses! Simply pop into I Had One Of Those, Loco Lounge, Togademus, Maison Mayci, Cooshoo, Armadillo, Love 2 Lounge, Kings Heath Library or Kitchen Garden Cafe to pick up an Easter Egg template, and get decorating!

Eat Out//

Loco Lounge | High St

Just in time for half term, Loco Lounge has been named one of Birmingham’s best family-friendly restaurants in the Birmingham Mail. Whether you need a break from cooking or are meeting friends with the kids in tow, the little ones can enjoy a healthy meal off the Little Loungers menu whilst colouring in or playing a board game, and you can enjoy a well earned rest from the kitchen! Check out their menu here.

Al’s Diner | Poplar Rd

What better way to treat the kids over half term than with a trip out to Al’s Diner! On the menu expect all of the big American classics that kids love, from a classic fully loaded cheeseburger or a giant hotdog and curly fries, to a thick and creamy shake or ice cream sundae for pudding! Delicious! Find them on Facebook here.

Armadillo | Poplar Rd

The weather is a bit too on the chilly side for outdoor fun this half term, so head to Armadillo at the beginning of the week and stock up on supplies! With everything from beads to make fun homemade jewellery with, colouring books and pencils, paints and craft supplies, there’s more than enough in store to keep them happy for the whole week come rain or shine, from the comfort of your own home!

I Had One Of Those | York Rd

Parents, when all else fails…head to IHOOT for guaranteed happy little faces! Not only will they have hours of fun discovering the hidden gems in store, but let the little ones pick their own favourite sweet treats, toys and games, and the kids will stay content through the rest of the half term! I Had One Of Those are on Facebook here.
